Okay...Too chicken' to post this on the Gen board...And I'm too lazy to research myself.

What's shorter...TF727 or a TH350?

Powerglide? :)

I don't see why you would get flamed?

What style output on the 727?
rover
IH
Dodge
jeep?

Powerglides can be built very short if you want a divorced T-case

More of a lazy issue for me!

I like the PG and the lenght of the thing, but my research shows the cost (with a Camble to Atals adapter to be a bit spendy).

I hear the 904's are a nice short trans, and no adapter needed with an Atlas

The TH350 would be a simple 4x output.

Reason I ask is if I go with mogs (and I can narrow them enough) I'll need the shortest drive-train possible. 4.3/???/atlas

How long is the 727 with the Range Rover output ?
I have heard of and recently read about an 88" hybrid with a 727 in it, which I would have thought too short for the autobox, but unfortunately there was no info on the tranny set up.
Just curious about whether and how it might fit....

Cheers,
