Here's my problem. I run 8 lug dana 60's and just brought some 42's but need new rims. MRT beadlocks clear one ton break better than champion but are steel rims. where champions aren't.
But then theres the option of converting over to six lug. I am about to do disk breaks in the rear but I am not sure what to do.

What do you think???

Everyone I wheel with are running the MRT's , seems like the
steel holds up better here in the South . Sometimes really
muddy and you have to use the loud pedal to make an obstacle and not worry about wheel damage . just my .02

What's your rim diameter?
You can have OMF install locks on the aluminum wheels of your choice.

Well, since I have run both MRT's and champions, I can tell you, I like the Champions better. Dunno, maybe cause they look better. I have never had a problem with either wheel, but if you do drive it on the street, you would be better off with the champion. I run MRT 36 bolt 15x10 with a 2"bs on my 60 now, and the offset requires a bit more bearing maint......I want to go 17" and bring the wheel in a bit.

When you run 6 lug on a dana 60 do have to use 1/2 ton brakes?

I am thinking about just buying some 2 1/2 or3 inchbackspacing champions.
