with a quick search I found this (http://www.akfabshop.com/alaskaoffroad/tech_2.htm)
shows how to do it pretty sell. there was another page but I can't find it. I have done it and it's simple. let me know if you have any questions. I also have a simple shifter setup if this is an early chevy style 205.

yes, a 205 is a 205. all that will be different is the shifter setup.

Wagoner machine will do the shift rod for you for like 60 bucks. I think its worth it since you need to machine them right. When you twin stick, to get front and rear seperate what you are really doing is keep one gear from engaging the other by just a hair. If you machine the shift rod too much or too little you will end up with one, t case poping out of gear at bad time or two poping into gear at bad times which can lead to all sort of crap. I am not a machinist so I thnk its worth the 60 bucks. The R/R you can easly do yourself.

there actually seems to be a lot of play in what us too much and not enough. I have seen them done with varying amounts of material removed. the day I pay someone 60 bucks to do what took me 10 minutes with a grinder, is the day I hang up my tools and get out of the sport.
