Today I did some hard four wheeling. A lot of it was mud, high rpms, doughnuts etc., alot in 4 wheel low. When I got back on the main road I shifted back to high, undid the hubs, (new Warns) when I moved forward, the truck made a grinding buzzing noise. It shifted fine but when I tried to move forward it would lurch make a grinding noise and buck. It would move several feet, make the noise, sound like something was spinning. I put it in four wheel high, (hubs unlocked) and it drove fine. Any ideas? Maybe an adjustment or possibly the transfer case needs something? While I'm here, if it does need a rebuild any tips about dropping it while the body is on? I dropped tranny/transfer while putting a body on, was pretty easy(yeah right) . Also is it beyond rebuilding it myself, or can a tranny place do it? Figures, it'll probably F*cking snow now, and I won't be able to four wheel :crybaby2:
