We're talking about a RRC, 1992 here. How much of a difference in tire diameter can I run between the front and rear wheels without doing something bad to the viscous coupling? I've got 2 firestone tires w/ almost full tread, and 2 bridgestone tires with not much tread. All are 245/75's, but the firestones are about an 1.5 inches taller. Is this .75 inch radius difference going to wreak havoc on the VC? I can't imagine that it makes that much of a difference, but want an opinion other than mine.

actually one day i ripped a whole in one of my tires and had to use the spare that came with the truck. it was pretty damn close in size (cant remember exactly) but still a touch smaller and boy did it run like crap. i only drove it for 2 miles.
given it was only one tire on one axle, but with open diffs i dont think that would make any difference.
