I have a WMS NP203 doubler. I just replaced the D300 with an Atlas. The shifter I had to build to run the Atlas and the 203 is real close to the pass seat (1st gen eclipse seats). Anyhow, I am looking for some narrower and / or lower profile seats. I have searched, and am thinking maybe MR2. Anyone have any ideas. Dimentions would be great too. Ive searched both the Toy and General Forums, and they all say about the same thing. But I think most of the seats listed, will hit my shifter.
stock samurai are real small. might be just what ya need.

If you have a skinny butt, the old Porche 914 seats are reall narrow! I used them in a single seater sandrail I turned into a two seater!

Kirkey seats are really narrow and low profile.

Mitsu Starion / Dodge Conquest, is what I'm running and with some 1" box tube to mount them, they really sit low.

thanks for the help. I at least know where to start at the salvage. Any width and height dimentions? I am particularly interested in MR2, prelude, integra, etc. A friend had a 86 MR2, and they seemed low and narrow. But I know they are getting old too, so a nice set will be hard to find. Thanks for not flaming or telling me to search.:D

MR2's are lower than most import car seats. They are about 20" wide, you may be able to squeeze them down to 18" if you stripped the side plastics and adjusters off. They are about 20" at the widest point of the seat and where the side bolsters come in. The sit about 7-9" tall, depends on how you mount them. Mine are 7" to the top of the front of the seat from the floor. I have a crossbrace the runs from side bar to side bar in my buggy made from 1" pipe. The two front mounts are 90 degree downward mounts and bolt through the pipe, the back ones are flat. They're pretty comfortable, but nowhere near a good racing seat.

Bucket seats from summit racing are fairly narrow, cheap, and pretty comfortable.
I'm running a kirkey seat for myself on the drivers side and a summit on the pass side for my passenger spotter. Its alot easier jumping in and out of the summit seat than the kirkey!
