From my understanding, the Ford Dana20 mounting bolt pattern is circular while the Jeep Dana20 mounting bolt pattern is the Texas pattern.

Are the internals swapable between the two(gears, intermediate shaft, etc)?

How about external parts(nose cones, rear outputs, etc)?

Basically, I'm wondering if I can use a stripped down Ford case and rebuild it with Jeep parts :p

You can swap the internals but why would you want to. The Ford D20 has either a 2.34:1 or a 2.46:1 low while the Jeep was only available with a 2.03:1 low. In fact, I know a bunch of Jeepers that have swapped in EB gears to get a little more low gear.
