Is This (http://www.yellowh2.com/Mods.htm) for real?

"Magnetic Truck Shields, Unless you do not want pin stipes on your new H2 when you go off-roading in the woods, then you need some truck shields.
You do have to tape all the edges down which is a hassle. But that is better then scratches on your new rig."

No Hummer should be without at least one jerry can mounted on the rear. They look cool and if you go off-roading they are very handy.

One word of advice. Do not fill it up and drive around town. If you got rear ended it could be disastrous.

Roof Mounted Spare Tire

It got old having the spare tire in the back cargo area. So I moved it to the roof. I like it much better there. It gives the H2 much more of a utilitarian look. I have been asked several times if I am going on safari.

It was also available for CJ as I recall, considered buying a set, I thought what a way cool idea.:flipoff2:

if you have those magnets, they will eventually pick up small metal particles from somewhere, then pressing this metal between the paint and the magnetic stip, still scratching your school bus.... er...."Homo 2"

ever try to get metal shavings off a magnetic sheet like that?

My last favorite quote. LOL... park it next to a fullsize pickup, it's not so big anymore. Parked next to a H1 once, gotta admit, for as big as they look, they were hidden behind my stock extended cab.

Yes they make those.

There's a wheeling spot in San ANtonio that a bunch of H2s went to. They all had those on their H2s, and were cutting away branches that would get near their H2s.

I like the the traffic advisor. It says "I'm broken yet again/I have broken yet another tierod, Go around" all over it.

I use to have mentality like this....When I was 10. Definate Form over Function idiot.
I have half that crap on my 88 2WD burb because I need it not because it looks cool. I have overhead utility lights so if we pull in campground in the dark I can see to set up the camper or loading the trailer. I have a SINGLE, REAL, TUNED CB antenna that will outperform his "Dual antenna's" that are blocked by the body so useless in front of the vehicle. I have 52x76 Roof rack to carry bikes and generator and gas. It all has purpose becides "It looks cool".

This sums it up for this dork.

These tail lamp guards are of very high quality and help add to the "utilitarian" look I am going for. They also help support my cb antennas.

WHAT A FAWKING TARD!

true story. the 1st time i went to paragon we were running stock level trails and i was in my full size extended cab GMC. i was 1rst behing the trail guide and in front of 2 h2's. the one guy was braging about how he used to take his stock path finder wheelin all the time, but he got to hardcore for it, so he bought the H2. every time we had an obsticle, he made his wife and kids get out and hold back the branches so he didnt get hs rig scratched. either of them could drive for shit, and the one actually got stuck getting out of a stream crossing where several stock tj's made it. what a couple tool bags.

There where 3 H2's at PAP on saturday. We where coming down vallley road and there was a major back up. thinking something had happened we asked one lady what was up. She exclaimed 'theres this spot down there where all 3 tires go down and the back one comes up in the air'

so we walked down and it was about a 1' deep wash out that they were freaking over. It took 1/2 an hr to get 3 h2's through a 20' section. It took us (8 thrucks) about 5 minutes all going downthe hard way we found off the side of some rocks.

And for those who know pap, valley road is an acess trail.

the one guy made his whole family get out 'in case he rolled' the truck was maybe 5º off camber fuking tard

It's funny everybody keeps bringing up pap. When I was there for the second nueroc last year there were a group of hummer owners just splashing through a giant mud puddle, which is what I guess passes for offroading in those buses.
