I quit chewing Copenhagen in 97. I was working out of town on ten day stretches. We packed the equipment to the top of a mountain just east of Elkins WV. At the top, I opened up a can and tried to put a chew in. I already had a chew in.

I decided that it wasn’t doing anything for me so I threw the can over the hill. The guys I worked with scoffed and said I would be back by the end of the day looking for it.
After a few days they were begging me to start again, offering to buy me snuff. I was making their lives miserable.
