I'm purchasing an F350 Superduty with the powerstroke engine, stick shift. I'm trying to decide on 4 or 6 in lift, 35 or 37 inch tires, would like information from those of you who have already made your mods, what other changes were needed after your lift ie; drive shaft changes, brake lines etc. How was your mileage affected? Also anyone out there added the banks kit for the diesel? Cost? worth it?

Thanks in Advance

As far as the Banks kit it makes huge power gains. I have a v10 in mine and my buddy bought the diesel . We went motorcycle riding and took his truck .It was a real shock . MY truck with the gas motor was a lot stronger. He went out had Banks put the stage two kit it . I think he paid 2800.00 installed. I drove it after the kit was installed ,now it would burn the tires . It pulled a lot harder. I see all the posts on how good the diesel is ,I wouldn't own one
without the banks kit. We pulled our trailer to pismo he avg. 16mpg and I got 11. It would take along time for the diesel to pay off.

I go check out www.ford-diesel.com and post the question there about banks. Lot of the Cummins guys will not use Banks because there are other alternatives (injectors and fueling box) that is much more cost effective and seems to work as well or better. Banks products are good, but I don't know if it is worth $2800.00.
