I was told that Hagstrom was a company in swedan. as far as the pick-ups, i dont know what kind they are,no writing on the outside. is there any way to tell or do they have to be removed?

Hey I used to have one of those! it should have a date code somewhere on it.. Mine was a 67 made in sweden they are a fair les paul copy.. mine was beat up a bit used.. whats the condition of this??? Mind you I paid 125.00 for mine back in 92 in a guitar store.. I've not seen another since. O yea.. I'm looking at an Admire les paul copy right now.. brand new.. so this one's got my interest peaked.. Mine would have been a much better guitar if it's previous owner cared for it more :D
