Might be getting 4:88's, did a search to find out where people are getting them, seems like Randys Ring and Pinion are the cheapest, but I read a post that said that they use inferior gears. Is this true? If so, where would you buy gears?
I was figuring around $400 per axle with the install kits and all new crap, is this reasonable?

Got our gears from Downey offroad. The gears were Genuine gears. Have had no probs with them. Don't forget that unless your cruiser is a 1978, you will also need new fine spline driveshaft flanges for the new ring & pinions. I know nothing about Randy's.
