Layed out a good chuck of jingle and got me a 2002 FORD 7.3 PSD. 4 door, 4 wheel drive, XLT. Has alot of bells an whistles. The back up sensors are cool:p But have a few ?'s for ya all.
1. Trans temp gauge ... what is NORM ?
2. Is 17 mpg NORM ?
3. What is included in NORM maintenance ?
4. How much lift to fit 33X12.5X16's (305x70R16's)
5. Dose lift directly effect towing capibility?
Thanks for any an all info you can share... you guys are swell !;)

1. Norm is not in the red. (It's detailed in the owners manual. ;) )
2. Wish I got that good of mileage.
3. Covered in owners manual. Are you wondering what the dealership's going to do? Probably nothing.
4. Throw them on.
5. Sure, you'll need a drop hitch to hook up that trailer.

1. Factory "gauge" is shyt. Get a real set of gauges and keep the temps below ~225 for decent life. Lower is better.
2. 17 is norm with RsPM under 2k and using straight #2. Blended fuels drop mileage 10-20 percent.
3. RTFownersM
4. Mount 'em up!
5. The lift and tires will affect the capabilities in the obvoius ways. With a light load of 7k# and a drop hitch you should be fine.

1 from 100-210 on my aftermarket the in dash won't change...
2 lucky bastard i get 15 on a good day
3 oil/filter, fuel filter and wash teh air filter every 5k, tranny every 30 diffs and t-case every 60
4a leveling kit will solve that
5 mine's lifted 6in on 35's (could run 37's) and the only thing it affects is a bit of power fromt eh big tires...

96 F-250 PSD
1) I agree get a real guage and add an extra cooler
2) I get 20 on the Freeway, 18 around town, 14 towing the YJ
3) again look at the manual
4) level kit worked
5) Lift and tires helped in my case as I have 4.10 gears. I did add 2" to the hitch.

I'd say we have at least a foot, freezing rain last night put a 1/4" crust on it.
