I am thinking of buying a 2001 dodge 1500 quad cab short bed 4x4 with an 360, auto , 15k mi. It was wrecked and rebuilt so it will have a R title. They are asking $16000 and the truck needs nothing. All the work has beed done. It was hit in the front. Is there anything I should look out for ?

16 K seems high for a rebuild. check frame WELL!! then look at all the body lines. Make sure it ALL looks normal.

I looked at a used, good title truck and they were asking $25,000 for it. It had all the same options also and milage. The $16,000 was there asking price. It's at a lot that does nothing but Dodge and Ford rebuilds. They do all the work there. And when I talked to the owner he didn't seem like a shister. He was up front with everything they did to the truck. I can't remember everything they replaced off hand because I looked a 4 different trucks. I still have to check with my credit union to see about a loan.
