Just a real quick verification, if stock TJ coils are replaced by WJ/ZJ coils you will gain 1.5/2 inches correct?? I dont want to hear "Just buy a lift." from some of you useless dribblers. This is for a broke friend.

I beleive it is only the V8 Grands that provide that amount of lift; at the expense of an increased spring rate of course... :D

ZJ front coils will work on a TJ front, and will give an inch or two. WJ coils are totally different and the TJ rear coils are different from a ZJ rear. If you want cheap, get a Budget Boost.

the ZJ V8 coils will give about 3" i have heard. you put the ZJ coils on the front of the TJ and the TJ front coils on the back of your TJ. because the front TJ coils are made to support the weight of the engine it lifts the rear of the jeep. i dont know from personal experience because i just got my TJ but i am researching some cheap ways to lift.

I did the ZJ V8 coils in the front, TJ fronts to the back and I gained 3" all the way around. This is on a 4cyl TJ.

v8 ZJ coils give 1.5" to an xj, and XJ coils give about 1" on average to a TJ....so expect about 2.5" from some used v8 ZJ coils, maybe 1/4-1/2" less for the 4.0s
