You could try to sell it after you get the PS box off of it, but what usally happens to me when I try something like that is it sets around until the scrap guy hauls it off and all I get out of it is the $400 box. Ask the guy with the scout to sell you the box and tie rod for $100 and have him deal with getting rid of the rest. Or buy it put the parts for sale here on the board and spend weeks tearing the good parts off shipping them out, and then have the scrap guy over for a  to get the thing out of your driveway before your wife/girlfriend/etc. gets sick of looking at it.
Good luck.

I would but it and build it,,, oops did I say that on this board hehehe,,,,
My buddy has a Scout 11 built like mine "One Ton". The Cool thing about a Cruiser is you don't see one every other minute on the trail,,, kinda of like a Scout.
And if it don't pan out for you,,, sell it.
