I know that i am new to this palce but i think that i have had the worst day in my life!!!!! Woke up this morining to hit the early morning mudding got a mile from my house oil pressure dropped turned aournd and heard clank clank clank :mad3: the jeep stopped. the engin locked up. So here it is xmas not 4x4!!
My next delema is what the hell is the best option crate or rebuild BTW it's a 360. Then my next is to find a good mech that will do me right not bend me over. So if anyone knows of a good one near Madisonville, KY I would be in greatful.
I guess my questioon would be why didnt you stop driving when you lost oil pressure? No offense, but that was dumb. Oil pressure gauge is the most important gauge in the truck.
Anyway, good luck getting a rebuild. My pops just paid upwards of 1500 for one of those reputable crate motors, and it was the inline 6 for a CJ-5.
Sorry about that, not to fun of a x-mas present. Get a Toyota:):)
It happened so fast!! Looked down at the gague and next thing i know clank clank LOCKUP!!!! Trust Me if i had seen it any sooner i would have shut her down that monent!!

Rip it apart, find out what broke. You might be able to throw in new parts and save yer block, do a guerilla rebuild (new rings), pop it back together.

Put some new oil in it pull it down the street and pop the clutch can't make it much worse. Might even run.
