WyoJeeper 12-24-2001, 04:57 PM I got a D44 from a Waggy. It didnt have the spindles out to the hubs. I was trying to put it together today with Chevy spindles and Ford hubs and rotors for a 5x5.5 lug pattern and now it seems that the passenger side axle shaft is to long for it, the shaft is bottomed out in the pumpkin but the spindle wont fit over it. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks Rick 71RCKCRZR RYAN 12-24-2001, 06:49 PM DOES THE OUTES SHAFT FIT THRU THE SPINDLE ALONE......WITHOUT THE INNER CONNECTED......IF YOU DIDNT CHANGE THE AXLE HOUSING THE INNER SHAT SHOULD BE FINE......THE OUTER SHAFT IS NOT FITTING BECAUSE THE MIX MATCH OF PARTS YA GOT GOING....IM SURE ITL WORK IF YA FIND THE CORRECT OUTER.....UNLESS THE INNER SHAFT WAS WRONG TO BEGIN WITH............
