I am using a high pinion Dana 44 from a 77 F150 for a solid axle swap. I am trying to buy some gears, but do I need gears for standard or reverse rotation?

How can I tell?

Reverse rotoation often called reverse cut. That is what a high pinion 44 or 60 will be.
