I have decided to use a 350-Turbo in my 72FJ conversion. I read on this board that I could purchase an oil pan kit from Downey to allow clearance for my drive shaft. I also read that I could have a drive line shop make me a small diameter drive shaft.

A/A will be supplying me with my plate and hardware.
Any suggestions???
Also, what would be the best motor mounts to use for my 350 convesion?

You should'nt really have much clearance issues with the TH350 pan using the AA plate. But if anything at all, you may just have to have that smaller diameter shaft built. As for motor mounts, I can't suggest any, because I always build my own, but the AA mounts are simple and fairly reasonable (I think) at around $120 bucks or so?
