I was supposed to spend the weekend with this girl I'm talking too. Well it snowed last night, she and me didn't wanna take the risk (she lives in raleigh and was comign here). Well she called me about 8:30 in the morning (I had asked her too), we were talking and I was like do you want me to cancel the room. She said yes.

I call the motel, ask them if I can cancel my room. They asked for my last name, blah blah, and said ok we will cancel it.

Now will I be charged for the room or what? I didn't understand exactly how their cancellation policy worked.

* Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is necessary, to avoid billing you must receive a cancel # by 6 pm prior to the arrival date. Cancel times and dates may vary. Contact the reserved Motel 6 for specific policies that affect your reservation.

We are in college...hush it over there. :flipoff2: and this has already been takin care of. I told her from day one, don't expect to go out all the time or me buy you everything you want. She doesn't want that, would rather stay home and fix dinner and hang out. :p

I asked where she wants to stay. She said Hampton Inn. Then she came back a lil later and said lets save some money so we can go to the mtns or something. :D

Answer is probably you may be charged for room but most likely you won't be. Hopefully you wrote you cancellation number down, if they charge you just dispute with CC and give them that number :)

Never got one. I'm going to check to see if my room is still booked online.

*checked online to see, they were still booked but already cancelled. So I guess I should be ok.
