I was wondering what kinda Tube bender is that on the front page of this webpage and what is the webpage to the site? I am very interested in buying one to maybe make some roll cages and other tubular frames for 4x4's? Also does anyone know of the lowest prices on Miller Mig welders? www.weldersdirect.com has the cheapest on the Miller millermatic mig 175 welder what i want and it is 635 does anyone know of a welder i can get for cheaper then that?
And is this a good welder for learning to weld on and welding like all tubular frames and rollcages and all? Thanks

JD2 bender. if you will do a search you will find a wealth of info on welders and tubing benders. also protools has a good article about those cheapy pipe benders. the dies are different between tube and pipe.

Thanks Black99 I have read of the www.jd2.com webpage theres looks pretty good and i also did see the protools site that also looks like a great site also on benders. Now can you get a tubeing bender and bigger then 2 inches i wonder? do you know of any? I mean not sure you would want any bigger then that for building tubular frames and stuff but am currious if they make them bigger? Thanks
Chris
They do make them bigger but you would be the only one on the trail with bigger than 2" OD tubing if you want stronger go with 1 3/4" or 2" DOM but it is probably not necessary... that is a good price on the welder
Thanks yall yeah i guess 2 inch is big enough just seemed like people who build the rockcrawlers may have little bigger then 2 inch tubeing. Now i just typed to someone lastnight about the welder and well the miller 175 welder is probally all i'll ever need but they told me i should maybe get one that can weld a little more then what it can like teh miller 210. So now I'm debateing wheather to wait a little longer and save more money for the mig miller 210 welder what do yall think? Because they were just saying to be safe that i should get something a little more just in case i may need to weld soemthing that big but hell all i'd care to do is weld roll cages maybe try makeing some bumpers and attempt on building a tubular frame for rockcrawling. So is a 175 enough for me to do all these things yall think? Thanks

Not a bad price on the welder but check locally. I can get the Miller 175 (been looking at it for myself) for $639 with no shipping and local warranty work. They even have specials where they throw in "free" stuff.

175 is more then enough, if it aint just grind a V and fill it with a couple of passes. 2" tubing would also be more then enough for anything, if you don't think it will be just get it with a thicker wall, or sleave it over some 1.75"
Thanks yall yeah i think i may try and hold out a little longer on maybe the miller 210 welder. I just got some money for Christmas so i maybe able to get the 210. And Also someone said about they can buy the 175 for 639 locally and no shipping well www.weldersdirect.com i emailed them and there price of 635 for the miller 175 includes no shipping price nad they throw in a free roller cart which is still a great deal. Thanks again.

I have been welding for about four years now. I have just started building cages and suspinsion components. i have used many different types of welders in the past including the 175. I just about a month ago I got the miller 210 and is got to be one of the smoothest machines I have ever had the pleasure to use. You would not even have to be good to throw down some of the best beads. My .02 save for the miller 210 or 250.
Thanks man yeah i have typed to quite a few different people and i think maybe i will try and save for the 210. Now the 250 that sounds like alot more money do you know whtaqt hey go for ?
