What is the general consensus for wheel backspacing on a 2000 Ram 1500 ? Im asking for a co-worker of mine whom has 8" (I think) of lift running 38x13.50s. The stock wheels caused some issues from what he was telling me.

4.5 inches, it will allow you to eliminate or at least minimize rubbing on control arms and allow you to run the biggest tire possible with your particular lift.
