I've got a dana 300 in my cruiser and I'm gonna add an aftermarket spedometer. Any suggestions on which guage/cable to get??? Also, any guages that offer different ratios so the guage will read correctly for my 37s??? Thanks

Can't help on the speedo type, but a few options exist for the ratio set up. The D-300 had 4 or 5 different nylon gears in the case at the speedo output cable for different rear end options. The higher the tire size the lower the tooth count needed on the gear for correct speed indication. Also some 3/4 and 1 ton Chevy trucks came with a speed ratio multiplier/reducer at the transfercase seedo cable output. I was able to find(with alot of trial and error) the right combination of reducer and speedo gear for my 35's and 3:54 ratio. Now I 'm going 4:10's and 36's, so back to the drawing board.

Here's a link (http://www.jeeptech.com/javaAps/speedo.html) to help out with checking for speedo gears for the different Jeep xfer cases. Dunno if this will help you if you change the speedo tho.
Digital Speedos.... all ya need to do to recalibrate it is push a button, drive two miles and push the button again ;)
