Anyone have a pic of a stock Horizontal Blue fj40 (code 808)? My 68 doesn't have a paint code on the tag and I want to confirm the color.

Check out the Cool Cruisers of Texas website. They have all the codes and years for you to see.

HTH.

Thanks, but they DON'T have a color chip or photo of that color, nor do they specify the years it was used. They do have have most others though.

TLC refers to a color as "Smurf Blue" but I don't find that listed as a Toyota color maybe it's just a reference?

Smurf blue?!? Who'd want a smurf blue cruiser? Oh wait a second...nevermind <IMG SRC="smilies/blush2.gif" border="0">

Smurf blue is Toyota #854. It looks kind of like this.<IMG width=811 height=470 SRC="http://www.pirate4x4.com/ubb/uploads/Parked on Ian's tire..jpg">

Thanks Jeff,
Mine is lighter than that. I made a call to a local supplier that will mix up rattle cans and they have chips/samples he thinks go back beyond 68. I'll make a run down there and see what's up. $7.95 a can for Acrylic Enamel, with 24 hr turnaround.

Seems like a reasonable price to freshen up the trail scars! <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">

You are not KIDDING!!!!!!

The wife is about ready to drive me to heroin if she does not lighten up on the all the freakin' honey do's.

By the time I put Anna to bed around 8:30 at the latest, get the kitchen picked up and any laundry folded and put away, it's 9:30 or so and who wants to lay bead in the tub or paint Herculiner half asleep?

Something's gotta give on the homefront!!!

Seriously though, Martha does have some really swell colors, just ask Christopher Lowell! <IMG SRC="smilies/rainbow.gif" border="0">
