this topic is probably not very politically correct ... lol ... but check out a ham radio gathering/convention type thing. lots of good deals to be had at those things.

You can by "footwarmers" from just about any decent CB shop, LeftCoastRadio comes to mind. Basically it is illegal for them to sell amps,,,,EXCEPT for educational purposes. ;)

Do'oh the link above for export radios is what Coax Kid and Left Coast has become.

I just looked! http://www.exportradios.com/prodpage.cfm?Cat_Selected=20&Subcat_Selected=54&Group_Selected=211&product_Selected=121 SWEET! 3.2KW! Damn I could blow out all those pricks from Alabama.

Screw the FCC and their tyranical goal to controll all things on the air waves :mad3::mad3::mad3:

There is nothing wrong with CB amps - they are a tool just like anything else, and they can be abused or used wisely depending on the user....

Here are a few I have:

Export Radio (http://www.exportradios.com/)
Copper Electronics (http://www.copper.com/)

But here is the radio I use and like

RCI 2970 (http://www.exportradios.com/prodpage.cfm?Cat_Selected=19&Subcat_Selected=49&Group_Selected=190&product_Selected=776)

And there is the foot warmer!

Texas Star DX667 (http://www.exportradios.com/prodpage.cfm?Cat_Selected=20&Subcat_Selected=54&Group_Selected=314&product_Selected=109)

And now for the legally, bla bla bla, 4Watts, bla bla bla.
   :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :D :D :D

j/k actually the feds don't much care about "cb's" much anymore as long as you aren't interfering with licensed broadcasts. Possibly why amps can be bought on the open market and not in the backroom.

I even had a CB license back in the day, just to show how far back I go. :)
