Are there any sites left where you can hop on and make a CD without having to pay 99 cents a song? I can't seem to find any:confused:

You may be a cheap Bastid™, but that doesn't mean we're gonna have any fawkin sympathy for you, while you try to cheat somebody out of the money they earn, to put food on their tables.

Not every musician is a bazillionaire, with airplanes, limos, mansions, and little blonde crotch monkeys.

Pay the price. Support starving artists.

What? I use it all the time. To download stuff I had bought already and someone stole when they broke into my car and house. I feel there is nothing wrong with replacing what I already bought to begin with....

Sure, but if you give someone a good answer and they're gonna argue with you about it.. why bother ;) I mean if they're asking they obviously dont know right?

Actually, there are several professional musicians on this site. I would no more try to rob them of their paycheck, than I would try to rob the guy building rock-sliders for a living.

It's a matter of principle. Christ, they make little enough, as it is, from the sale of the CD, and you would deny them even that?

Oh, it's OK if they're BIG FAMOUS musicians, right? If you say it's OK to do that to the big fat-cats, where do you draw the line? So it's OK to steal from General Motors, but not "Wild Willy's Four-By World"? It's your conscience.

Get YOUR facts straight NEWB! :flipoff2:

Kazaa lite has more shit on it then bear share and you can remove bearshares without having to start you computer up in safe mode to get rid of everything. Only thing Bear share installs (AND IT TELLS YOU!) is Save WeatherCast. That is the ONLY thing it installs. I have been using BearShare for years and will be the only thing I use. Hell you can even get kazaa lite k++ from it but you'll have to restart your computer in safe mode and run SpyBot to get rid of everything it installs.

Who the hell still runs an outdated OS with "Safe mode" anyway?

Bob, I apologize if you don't agree with my viewpoint on burning cd's. As matter of fact I did have 120 CD's stolen out of my pickup several months ago and am gradually replacing them with burned units. whether or not this is a justification is in the eye of the beholder but I think that my redemption has been made through the honest original purchases of many of these albums:D

I downloaded Kazaa Lite Resurrection last night and it works great. No spyware that I can tell either and I was on the lookout for it from startup programs to the registry, it's clean as far as my limited knowledge can tell.

Best part is it's actually free. And before you go bitching at me about illegally downloading songs, I usually only get a song or two from a single artist, so next time they come to town I will throw a few toonies at them on stage to make them happy (this way the record labels won't take $1.75 of it either!) :flipoff2:

Don't try to justify what you are doing. I have downed music, and burned it, and I am man enough to admit I stole it. Is everyone in AZ with a SAS taco an idiot?
