I picked up a 1976-77 ford. What Horse Power does a 390 have? How can i mod it to make more power cheap?

Very true. Funny how all those 360's magically grow into 390's when it comes time to sell 'em. Not that you can't trick out a 360 as readily as a 390. But yea, if you go to the above link and check out the FE forum you'll have every possible question already answered.
