: There is a new sheriff in town
Old Scout 01-13-2004, 07:42 PM I have had a few PM comments that this place has gone soft. Anyone here has the ability to flame :rainbow: tech questions. Beat up a newbie, it's better than kicking the dog.
BTW : One unnamed member has power to do anything he feels necessary for a trail period.

The cat's out of the bag... I'm a mod :D:D:D
beware you guys, I'll beat your ass :flipoff2:
;)
How about you start by removing your :rainbow: post about the weather!
DieLucas! 01-13-2004, 09:11 PM With Adam stuck in high school 6 hours a day, we're gonna have to wait until 3 in the afternoon before he cleans up all the 8 to 5'er mess...
BJ On Roids 01-13-2004, 09:13 PM I was only discussing how the rover section had become as weak as a 10 spliner the other day!!
Barely any responses to sams hard core tech on his new buggy. Yet some gay topics about the range stormer and the new bronco front wheel drive car hit two pages
YEAH!!! :flipoff2:
softer than butter in the sun out here :D
BJ On Roids 01-13-2004, 09:25 PM ALTHOUGH
i mean no offense to anyone starting those topics and so on. obviously it gets slow out here sometimes and some discussion is needed to keep the place moving along. but yeah, i do agree it does seem to need a new sherrif.
Old Scout 01-13-2004, 09:25 PM Get real it's not Adam!
ProsQtor 01-13-2004, 09:26 PM So this isn't the time to ask what extreem front bumper to get for my 02 Freelander?
:flipoff2:
j/k
PTSchram 01-14-2004, 05:03 AM Hey, can we have a "Lounge" too?
:flipoff2:
My tech inquiries weren't exactly getting the responses I'd expected. I guess I'll go back to reinventing the wheel alone again.
darkstar 01-14-2004, 05:27 AM Eh Paul if you're bored you can come to a head gasket party this weekend. (and probably next weekend too, if past projects are any indication)
PTSchram 01-14-2004, 05:43 AM Just did one right before Christmas, to remove a broken exh. bolt no less!
Are you resurfacing the heads? Overheat? Beware the last bolt on both sides.
I do need to come visit Ali and put my cards beneath the wipers of every Rover in your town...
darkstar 01-14-2004, 05:57 AM No overheat... just losing a 1/2+ gallon of coolant during a 50 mile hwy drive. Nice.
I'm planning on having the heads skimmed and probably a valvle job too as long as I'm in there. 125K on that 4.0 of mine.
Come on down... Got a nice heated garage to play in here :D

LOL! Mine is probably nicer now that I quit the day job and rented shop space, should expand by another 1500 sq. ft. Feb. 1.
No more driveway wrenching for me!
Serious One 01-14-2004, 08:51 AM Feelin' awfully chit-chatty for a thread that started off talking about the 'new sheriff in town'.
