Will a caliper bracket from a 90 D60 work on my 79 D60 front axle? I need a new one and have a line on one from a 90 and not sure it will work. I looked in the D60 bible and I think it will, but wanted to be 100% sure before buying.

Are the calipers and slide pins also the same?

I know that they are *definitely* different.

That said, I think the spindle patterns are the same, so it might work with a '90 caliper and caliper bracket.

As for the pads.....? A '90 on the left and a 79 on the right? ;)

Are the 90 calipers any smaller than the 79s? Might be worth getting the 90s to run smaller wheels.

it will work but you will need the caliper for the 90 also
because they mount different then the 79 so you may as well replace both sides so your calipers will match make future replacement a little easier

that is correct. i bought a set of calipers off bay and forgot to ask what year they were for. they dont fit my 79 and i still got them. if you go that way i will sell them for $30. and if you have a 79 caliper bracket left over, i would buy that from you. i want new 78-79 caliper brackets myself, the ones on my D60 were altered where the bolt for the caliper key goes and now you have to put a nut behind it... idiots. if i can help, let me know. good luck, AXE
