Does anybody know of a way to swap out a Dana 44 on a 1979 F-150 for a Dana 60, and be able to continue using the C-bushings and the radius arms?

Fabritech, through Jeff's Broco Graveyard, sells the weld on tabs you jneed to mount the radius arms to the axle. Should be able to salvage your coil buckets to mount on the 60 housing.

Thanks. Do you have a link to these? Got on there and couldn't find them.

with the weld on stuff you need to do one of two things. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=155175 look at the bottom of that thread. you gotta open up the inner area or you use two chunks of steel as spacers between the radius arm & cap & redrill one hole in the lower spring cup. if you use search & search under my member name you will find some good threads on D60 swaps. thats what i am doing in my 79 bronco. oh yeah, BC Broncos makes the <> as well, you may have to call JBG to see whats up. they are $65

duff has wedges too, thats where I got mine. What year 60 are you getting? the 78/79 is the easiest, cause you dont have to grind the wedges at all, just run like a 3/4" spacer. Or you can grind them and run without a spacer. I have an 88 kp 60, and only ground for the drivers side. Its worked well so far.

awesome, wish I had done it with a 79.
Anyways, here is a pic of the spacers I used, nothing fancy but does the job. Or just grind them, but spacers for your application would be clean and quick.
