I was never interested in getting flex outta my rig. Controlling wheelhop was #1 on my list. Now that I'm in CT and there are more rocks and trails than mud -I need more flex. This is the max for my rig...

I'm thinkin wristed arm -*(thanks AXE) and softer coils -maybe the JBG coils. I don't want to go much higher though -I'm already pissin off the local PD and I kinda like the wide and low thing. Any ideas/suggestions?

what i am thinking is get some EB coils that are 5.5" and made for lighter trucks and compress to about 4" lift from what others have said and that should give you some added drop = flex for starters, i just worry about ride quality. you could get custom wound coils specifically for flex & made for the weight on your truck so that the "rate" & "rebound?" are right. Raf got a quote of $450 to $550 but that was 10" coils . but then adding the wristed arm as well will free up alot of flex. what is your rear leaf pack made up of? i guess a set of 10 leaf military wrap rear springs will free up the back a little more. dont know what way you want to go with it. them are my plans at least. also i am looking into different ideas to beef the BC Rocker design too.

EB coils will not take the weight of a 60 and a 460 for very long. 6 or 8" 2wd coils from Fabtech will be pretty flexy. Plug is using those with good results I assume. Then cut the fenders as needed.

get jeffs superflex coils. I got a set of the 6 inchers for my 78 and I really like them. The other things you can do are a wristed arm which it sounds like your not into or extend your arms and use some heim joints on the ends of them.

another thing you can do to the rear is flip the shackles over, it will let you get more drop out of it. Seemed to help quite a bit on mine. I just broke the rivets off with an air hammer and rolled them over and welded them back on.
In the front I made custom radius arms with heim ends on them and JBG 5.5 inch coils. I think the track bar or pan hard bar also causes a lot of bind if you leave it at stock position when you lift it. I am building a new one with heim ends on it to aid it the flex.

i hope he is into a wristed arm, i am going to start cutting steel for one soon. honestly i think the shackle flip will reduce the amount of flex in the rear end. but thats just me. with the compound shackle, it will flip forward and droop all the way down. with a flipped shackle you loose that. i could be wrong, but i would love to ramp two vehicles lifted the same height, one with shackle flip and one not, and see. heres me with 4" 33s... http://www.superford.org/getfile.php?id=48252&toggle=fullsize&f=river15.jpg

do a shackle flip in the rear and get ride of your over load leaf in your packs (dont need em) you can buy or biuld pivoting spring perches so you dont bend leaves( future project of mine) exstend your arms and make sure your steering and track bar are parallel to one anther so they dont bind. i fabed a set of arms that are 16" longer than stock and used 3/4" hiems on the end. this is what i did on mine and it got me the flex i wanted.
o ya the shackle flip got me 2 more inches up the ramp
heres a pic, far from maxed out
