Anyone have any info on these new parts that compliment the Revolver Shackles?

They are supposed to mount on the fixed end of the spring hangers to provide more flex and droop out of your springs w/ Revolvers. I am in the process of installing rear revolvers on my SOA Jeep YJ, and i want to know if it is worth it to go ahead and buy the Z-box to get more flex or if it's even worth it. I don't even know how much they are selling these Z-box's for. I have been looking for info on them, but have been unable to find anything on them.

Any info would be great thanks a bunch and happy holidays

I have no personal experience with them but i've seen them on Curt from Metal made rites jeep for a long time now and they seem to work pretty well. Tons of travel for a SUA setup, he claims they work really well. :D

i personally think that the revolvers are ok for sua, but for soa, you will end up a ramp queen that likes to roll over. they flex well, but i don't think they are great for the trail.

O please newbie! you Stupid fawker :flipoff2: as if you know jack shit about anything! I have revolvers on my SOA setup and they work great. Not to much flex just about perfect amount. Ramps about 1100 on 25 degree ramp. :flipoff2:

Hey Rockbuggy, are you shackle reversed? I have revolvers in the front and I bent my spring when I jammed them up against a rock.

What the fuck are you talking about expert. I have had them on my SOA Feep with 3” lift springs for a year now. Ramp Queen? How long have you had yours, or did a friend of an uncles mothers sister friends of yours told you so.

I do that whit or without the revolvers. It’s the way the shackle set up is. Unless you have them reversed you will bend the springs at the back especially with long lift shackles. It all depends on how you drive. I’m brutal on my drive train and tend to always bend my passenger side spring.

I don't mean to be rude guys, but when and why did this turn into an argument? I am only looking for information, related comments, and maybe even a little help on the rear suspension design.

I was asking about info on the Z box that Curt from Metal Made Right designed to compliment the Revolver shackles. I am not going to run Revolvers in the front, because i have a shackle reversal and i don't want my pinion to be pointing to the ground at full droop. I have plenty of flex in the front anyways. The set-up is just for the rear so i have the same flex in the rear as in the front. I don't want so much flex that it takes away from the stablility of the vehicle though.

Any info on the

Z-Box
would be great. okay thanks
