I usually call the part that goes from the framerail to the actual slider a "standoff". I'm not sure if there is an official term though. I aslo am not sure what you mmean by "inside rail"

WTF are you talking about? I'm assuming rock sliders, but I've never heard of a "standoff." On my ZJ's sliders, there's 2 mounting arms that bolt into the frame rail, a 1"x1" that bolts to the pinch weld, and then the slider itself.

I don't think there are "official" names for the parts, but I use standoff, rail, and outrigger for the frame mounts, inner bar, and outer bar.
Some sliders do not have an outrigger. Some (like Jeep CJ/YJ/TJ sliders) don't have a rail, they put angle right on the edge of the body.
I call the parts....Legs, Slider, Then outrigger, everyone has their own terms for such nonsense, call em whatever you wish in the end...:D
