I get paid friday so im gunna go buy some plate to start my new bumper.

I was gunna make the plate out of 3/8 steel and the supports out of 1/4 and attach it like this

pic show:
red - 3/8 plate
dark red - 1/4" supports
brown - 2x2 tube bumper

now my question since I dont have a winch to take measurements from: How big should I make the mounting plate, and how much room should I allow for the bolt holes?

go to your local 4x4 store and take messurements.

I dont wanna drive to San Jose.....Cuz I am pretty sure that is the closest store......anybody else
