The original Gone In 60 Seconds from the 70's has a cruiser in it. Unfortunately it is seen being pulled by a wrecker because it had been schwackked.

"Dark of the Sun" has a lot of footage of a very early FJ40 in Africa. In "Romancing the Stone", Michael Douglas drives a pretty stock FJ25 during the first part of the movie. "The Lost Boys" shows the main characters moving to a new location in their red/white FJ55, and there's another shot of it later on. "Dante's Peak" features a really nice, clean blue FJ60. On "Revenge", Kevin Costner and Madeleine Stowe do it while driving on his topless FJ40. in "The Parent Trap", Dennis Quaid takes his twin daughters camping in the Sierras in a very nice, modified dark green FJ40. In Tom Cruise's "All The Right Moves", the football coach drives a stock, mint late model (1981-1983) FJ40 that gets vandalized during the film. In "Pink Cadillac", Clint Eastwood gets chased by a group of bad guys in a topless, red early FJ40, which gets flopped on its side during the chase. In "After Hours", Griffin Dunne and Terri Garr get chased by corrupt Mexican cops in a nice gray FJ55. In Kim Bassinger's "I Dreamed of Africa", the ranch's foreman drives a battered RHD FJ45 with the Africa only-spec longbed. In "Crocodile Dundee II", Paul Hogan shoots and disables a 45 trayback with a custom extended cab and a 45 troopie driven by the bad guys. In "Cool Runnings", the guys training for the bobsled event hit a Jamaican 70 series police truck. And the two obvious ones, "Mad Max", where you can see a 45 series trayback with a big bullbar right before one of the chases, and "Air America", where you see some 45 series fire trucks as the plane is landing at the very beginning of the movie. There's more, but these are some of the ones I remember off hand.

There's an awful movie called Slow Burn (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0165477) with Minnie Driver where she drives an FJ55.

A friend of mine in Finland sent me these video captures from a German movie he rented, where the girls drive an FJ55.

There's a blurb (http://www.birfield.com/~morgan/images/print/toymonews1063-4.jpg) about a movie called Nightmare in the Sun in an old Toyota dealer newsletter I've got.

I've heard there are cruisers in old Godzilla flicks.

Yeah, I'm a freak.

Hey Henry, also in Dante's Peak, when the town is rushing to get out , there is a green fj40 on the highway that is seen twice.

There's a stupid MTV show, dont know the name of it, but one of the characters has a really nice yellow late 70's fj40.

In several of the A-team episodes you'll see army jeeps and cruisers mixed up in the seens.

On mork and mindy, Mindy was sometimes seen driving a FJ40 instead of her CJ-7! There's one episode when they are parked in the woods at night, they are driving the CJ, but when parked are sitting in a FJ40!

I've seen one star ski and hutch episode with a cruiser too.

Anyways, if you look hard enough, you will see them in all kinds of movies/shows.

I was watching Highlander and they were stuck in the bush because their FJ40 wouldn't start.
Of course they called it a Jeep.

Jimmy Buffet is another Land Cruiser enthusiast, he's got an FJ40 and an FJ60. Robert Conrad also owns an FJ40..nice one, too.
