i got a 79 cj5 and the piece of shit stock springs i still got on there, because i was too busy swappin in a 360 are completely shot; what brand of aftermarket springs have ya'll used and would recomend i get? i have a 3 inch body lift and a 2 1/2 inch shakle lift .....any recomendations would be appreciated.

Fawk that!!! Skycrapper's suck for sagging and their warranty is for shit! First hand experience on this one....Worst damn springs I ever owned. 3.5" down to 2" within 3 months. They did not honor their warranty!

I bought Superlift after that with minimal sag...not a bad spring for the price.

I now have Alcan's and would suggest either these or National if you can swing the $$$

it would be cool if...
you took off that body lift and shackles and
used YJ pro comp 2.5's sprung over shackle reversed, a buddy of mine has it on his cj-5, it flexes like a freakin animal.

first thing i would do is take off the shackle lift. You are fighting yourself if you stay spring under so you might consider finding some mild lift springs or a bunch of extra stock springs(for replacements) and just go spring over.
