Just wondering what you can tell me about a 84 bj60 front end. I'm looking to swap it into a toy p/u. How long is it? What kind of internals and axles do is have? Is it the same as what's in a fj40? Ring gear size? Birfields? Diff's on what side? What gear ratio's did they normally come with? Drawbacks?

basically the same as a late model 40 series, but wider...
3.73's are most common, but 4.11 are also factory. they do have birf's and that's the drawback...but if the axle's cheap enough, you can deal with them.
