Stolen Scout PHX

Hello all,

Jay Janovsky's Scout II was stolen today 1/21/04 from his house in PHX. He lives near Cave Creek and Greenway on the north side of town. It is a 1978, blue with white top, BFG tires on chrome rims, whip antenna, factory-style rollbar.

If you see it plz report it to police.... The thief stole it because the stolen vehicle he was driving was low on gas and he figured Jay's had more. We expect it is likely still in the PHX area.

Ronnie posted this for me yesterday and I just wanted to let everyone know that my Scout has been found! I don't have any details, but I talked to the tow driver and it seemed to be in the same condition as it was. I am able to go to get it tomorrow morning. A big thanks to all for keeping an eye out for another brother!

Jay's truck was found in a wash a few miles from his house. It was basically undamaged, excepting the bent rim and tie-rod that occurred right when the bastard stole it...Jay caught them in the act, grabbed the door handle and rode the truck down the street until the jackass hit the curb and knocked Jay loose...only thing missing was the fire extinguisher.

Saw Jay a couple days ago, he was pretty banged/scabbed up but he's tough! Thanks to everybody for looking.
