Here's the deal:
I am planning on some rear fender trimming.. alot. the kind
of trimming when you cut from the highest-point in the arc
of the fender opening to all the way back to the rear of the
jeep. (towards the tailgate opening)

I need to see pics of how ya'all did thiss trimming since the
"swoopee" thing on the rear quarter panel is below the top
of the arc of the rear fender opening. If I were to cut from the
highest point of the arc to the rear of the tub, this "swoopee"
thing would be in the way.

what should I do. ??

need to know................soon. I gots the saw-all warmed up..

When I added TJ flares I just cut around that indentation. The flares cover it up and it's not really noticable. You could always weld in a piece of sheetmetal to fill it in.

I took a piece of sheet metal and welded it in the swoopy area but it is hard to see in this shot due to the sun. Also my rear tire's are moved back 5" and 39.5's fit up in there at full stuff.
