Nice! Eager to hear how the submariner tests go.

Like the smiley face. :)

Looks sweet, but you might consider enclosing the top of the "inlet" a bit more. It looks like rain might be able to fall into the system when you are parked. Not a big deal, until it puddles up at the bottom and you make a right hand turn. ;)

Proper use of a dryer vent ;)

You betcha!! hehe

A good friend who owns a shop here in Atlanta set it up for me in exchange for a set of old 60 springs I had sitting around.

I rigged the cover to collapse onto the intake if it ever takes a hit.
Just wire tied the bottom so the top would collapse in and over the intake.

Good cal on the rain thing. I will attach a piece of plastic to the top of the mesh to make sure it stays dry and happy.

I have the PVC sticking up into the vent itself about an inch so water won't pool and run down into the intake.

I figured the inspection plate needed a little paint since I put in the locker hehe.

Yeah,

I have seen that setup on a few of you Georgia Cruisers when I went to TMC in 2000.

I like it, especially on 40's when you can still fold the windshield down.
