________
STOCK PICKS (http://pennystockpicks.net/)
Erik D_lux 01-22-2004, 09:45 PM did he actually use it? I cant imagine that would even hold up at all. And WTF did he need it so high for?
blacktoy 01-22-2004, 09:53 PM that's what you call "High Steer"
YJScrewen 01-22-2004, 09:53 PM it was a mud truck with huge lift blocks front and rear
and yeah he used it all the time:confused:
AIRZUKI 01-23-2004, 01:56 AM Does this qualify as High steer /...as in How 'HIGH' was the guy when he made it?:smokin:

By the looks of the rotors I would say not in a while
Starslope 01-23-2004, 06:30 AM That's alot of grease...
jdjanda 01-23-2004, 06:33 AM That be some fine engenering.
The scary thing is I'm sure a few people can't find fault with that setup.
LOPPY 01-23-2004, 06:34 AM Every axle should have a grease storage tube. Way cool. You HAVE to send some pics to scarysteering.com. that's a new one and he'll get a kick outa that one. ;)
kozaz 01-23-2004, 06:43 AM With a little fab'in, you could pressurize it, add a hose, a Air Grease Gun, and Presto! You have your own Trail Air Grease Gun! :flipoff2:
Grapehead 01-23-2004, 07:19 AM hahaha
on board grease sounds like a winner.
sees like mud trucks always sport the most ghetto setups.
lift blocks front and rear on top of his :smokin: steer setup...
natural selection seems to have taken the day off.
YJScrewen 01-23-2004, 09:10 AM anyone have the scary steering sites URL?
couldnt find it on here:flipoff2:
66CJdean 01-23-2004, 09:12 AM That would put the tierod above the frame on my Jeep. No chance of hitting it there.:D
BillaVista 01-23-2004, 09:18 AM wots rong with it?
he used lock washers, after all.

dittohead 01-23-2004, 09:18 AM Definitely looks like another candidate for the scary steering web page:eek:
MikeW 01-23-2004, 09:19 AM Is that really safe to use?

I'm bring my OTT arms back. I want a set like these ones  :D
I wonder why he did not use 4 really long bolts to go through the steering arm, then through his spacer, and into the knuckle? What a waste of bolts!
:flipoff2: :flipoff2:
Jeepmangled87 01-23-2004, 03:56 PM good god  fawking rednecks
axaviere 01-23-2004, 07:24 PM nice trac bar mount, i have been wondering how to mount mine. is that bolt just welded to the leaf pad?
YJScrewen 01-23-2004, 08:35 PM you like the bolt to eh
and yeah it is welded to the pad
not the housing
wish i took pics of the rear before i striped it
it had some interesting bracketry on it aswell:question:
Krash80 01-23-2004, 08:54 PM LMFAO...hicks are awesome. So that tube...you're not kidding, it is just storing grease...there's not a single moving part associated with it is there?
What's even funnier is that the entire high-steer thing he has only moves the draglink up...the tierod's still way down below!
