So what do you use and how does it work? And roughly how long does it take to burn a complete copy of a DVD?

Also, has anyone used DVD X Copy Gold? Is it any good?

I have DVD X Copy Xpress and it works great. Good quality. Only thing is it takes me about 1 1/2 hours to burn 1 disk but it has to read it first then it writes it so I guess that's not bad.

I have X Copy Xpress also, but it only takes me about 30-45 mins for one copy.

I bought DVD recorders for three family members and got DVD X-copy express for all of them. My brother got an 8X recorder (NEC 2500A) and my sisters both got 4X recorders. All recorders are dual format (DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW). They have all had pretty good luck with the dvd x-copy software. My brother had some issues early on solved by using a program called enditall2 which is freeware, you can doa search and find it. The program closes down all your running programs that may interfere with the burning process. Key troublemakers are antivirus junk and other cd recording programs like incd. There is a forum here (http://forum.321studios.com/) that will answer most of your questions or issues about the various dvd x copy software. Remember DVD-DVD copying is still in its infancy and there are issues, but it will continue to improve. You can use other software to rip and reencode DVDs but you will not get the default menus and features like you do with dvd-x copy. My sisters are both computer novices and have used it successfully, it is basically point and click. You may want to get platinum instead of gold though, you get more flexibility. My brother's 8X records a dvd including ripping and encoding in under 20 minutes btw. :D

I have a question-

Got a DVD burner dual 4x. I'm using Nero. to burn a 1.5 mb dvd it takes 10 hours. What the bleep am I doing wrong???That doesn't make any sense
