84 720 5 speed?

My King Cab blew the trans last fall and I haven't had much time to devote to locating another one. I have the Z24 engine and divorced xfer case. So the question is do I go used or reman? It doesn't seem as these things are very available. Anyone know a good source for this transmission or do I have any other options?
The truck runs 33's body lift and slight suspension trimmed fenders still has Ifs. Any input? Right now I'd just really like to get it back on the road so I can alternate between that and my other vehicle, not lookin to dump much more $ into it.

where are you at? Remains or used trannys for the 720 in my area are a dime-a-dozen. (DFW, Texas)

I'm on the east coast of Maryland and most of the old stuff is a pile of scap by now. The bodies on those type of trucks weren't worth a shit. They all rusted out long ago with the cold winters and salt air.

How soon are you wanting to do this? I have an '82 that I will be taking apart. The trans is good. I am putting a buick v6 and auto in when it gets warmer. If you are willing to come after it you are welcome to it. I am in southern Illinois.
