I have an auxillary gas tank in the rear of my 40 that was installed by the previous owner. It seems that the tube he used for the filler neck is a little too short because every now and then one end of it slips off and when I go to fill up gas fountains out from beneath my cruiser. I need to get a longer section of tubing to use for my filler neck. What kind of tubing is it and any suggestions on where to get some? I need to fix this before <IMG SRC="smilies/nuke.gif" border="0"> !

Hi Winey,
I bought a section of fuel filler hose from NAPA to extend my filler neck to a reasonable location. Don't use radiator hose as it is not compatible with fuel. The fuel hose is avail in several diameters (plain or wire reinforced)
