Spybot and AdAware aren't getting it, is there some other way, and if so, I need it step by step.

Step 1: take compute to some place safe (like a firing range)
Step 2: go to Armory pick weapon of choice
Step 3: shoot the *$&#^ computer

and Wala! no more nasty programs. And you feel better too. :flipoff2:

usually you can go to task manager, and find out what the process runs as. i know the optomizer does not run as "optimizer" its something discrete like "wop" or something like that... figure out what it is, then search your hard drive for it, and delete the source folder...

im having the same problem, only with "golden palace casino". i have found the file on my hard drive and deleted everything in it. but sometimes when i start my computer it is back on my hard drive and the icon on the desktop, anyone know how to fix this?

I just used cwshredder and it took care of my hijacked homepage
and several icons I could not get rid of.
Took 2 minutes and I have been fighting it for a month

Well I'm now infected with these fucking annoying programs too but the link doesn't work anymore. Does anyone have a link to it that works where I can download it? :confused:

WEll I eventually found it on my own and downloaded it and ran it where upon it said it found a few things and said it deleted them but I'm still getting pop ups and its chnaging my homepage to some :rainbow: "vipfares" crap. :confused:

Did you run hijackthis? That and cwsshredder should take care of any problems. Also quit using IE. Firefox doesn't suffer those problems.

Our IP guy just came down and fixed mine. He says AdAware and others don't kill the registry TSR-style bugs, but this stuff does. He installed it and ran it, now things are back to sweetness. I don't have the exact link, but I think it's www.webroot.com...it's called Spy Sweeper.

Nope just cwsshredder and adaware so far but I'm downloading spysweeper now and I'll look for that one next. Thanks for all the help. I'll look into firefox since I have no clue what that is but I'll search before I ask too many dumb questions ;) :D

On a side note who the fuck thinks this is a good way to try and pick up business by advertising like this? Or even more confusing who the fuck gets their computer infected with some shity virus and then decides to had over their money to these fucking assholes :confused: :mad:
