I saw this ad for a H2 roof rack and liked the design so I thought i'd check out heri web site see if there was any chance they offered them for other vehicles. The rack goes for a cool $2600. www.gobiracks.com Anyone know somebody that could fab me one of these?;)

Sloan, you might call Simon at Faultline Fabrication (909-599-9559) and see if he can help you. He builds everything else you can think of and does awesome work to. He is in San Dimas, Kelly.

My vote would be Simon at Faultline as well. Every time I deal with him it gets easier and easier! Nice guy and very fair.
My 2 cents for what it's worth.......

I would think that with the H2 not having very good visibility or a turret would be better off with some sort of wire guided missile linked to the driver's helmet.
Definitely have somebody fab it up, aluminum might be a nice alternative. That rack didn't look as though it had much structure to it . I would be concerned that a heavily loaded roof rack would tear up the gutters if the weight is not properly distributed.
BTW, Sloan, got the 8274 mounted in the ARB and on the rig, thanks again and sorry I missed ya down under. Kief.

Where are the pics of the bumper conversion?:D I was bummed I didn't get to see you and meet your family. I was working Alias and they kept asking for one more day, one more day... I hope all is well, and I may be traveling through your neck of the woods during April.

Not much usable space on that thing. Interesting design, I like the tire carrier, but it looks like mostly for bling and not much for utility.

One thing about that tyre rack is,it locks you in to having a spare no bigger than the space ( if you put it in the space)

Good point. The other (other) thing is that you'd have to plan all your tool boxes and coolers and the like around the odd space left between the tire and the overly enormous opening for the sunroof. Pain in the ass. I suspect that space is best suited for lawn chairs and a decent view of the steeplechase.

We all know that te H2 is ALL about image, nothing else. the H2 only shares 1 letter from the name of the original hummer and some styling queues. That's about it.

I don't have a problem with the Gobi rack being $2600.
Hell, if you just paid $60,000 for an H2, $2600 is nothing.

Seems well made. But considering their product line (or lack thereof) they need to pay for that fancy website somehow.
