I drove it tonight, for the first time in 7 months. Pinion brake is weird!!!???

right now it's weird BAD
can't touch the pedal without locking up the rear tires
rear tires are the only brakes, so it's scary
Need bigger tires, that'll help. Also, the axle wrap is so bad, it hops when you hit the brakes, need a trac-arm soon.

I'll post some pics and better info. in a couple of days.

so did you go wide or did you swap the hubs on those rockwells. i was afraid of the rear brake only idea. it just unloads so much when you nail it. hope you get it figured out. glad to here your up and running. mike

I had my crusier apart for about a year and a half doing an engine rebuild and a number of other mods. Finally back on the road, only to keep adding to the list of things to do. Keep it stock if you can. Mine was too far gone past stock when I bought it. Good luck. Don.
