After securing 2% of the FJ25 import market last weekend, you think I might come up with consecutive numbers.

So has anyone seen #848? :D

Those are cool. That is awsome that you have found two FJ25s that are that close to each other production wise.

yeah the man has a real problem it looks like...i think he should let me come down and load up on parts so he doesn't have to worry about them anymore....how many 25's are you up to now Jim? 4? 5? 20? hahahahah

So what are your plans for this one?

Plans, I need plans? Holy crap, I bought it for the original fuse box! :rasta:

Actually thinking of a low budget wheeler. I've got a good tub, and the motor sounds OK. All the numbers match, so I hate to cut it up too bad. I'm thinking one barrel F - SM420 - and some kind of centered case? Maybe a toybox adapter and a mini case, but I don't know about all that bling-bling aluminum under there. I'd like to keep the E-brake on the transfer too. Was there ever a 205, 20 or 300 case with a brake on it?

NP200(close realtive of np205) in kaiser m715 had centered output with parking brake on it and reportedly can be converted to RH output if you use a later cruiser axle.

M715 stuff: the "band brake" kinda sucks. As far as moving the output to the right side, I've heard that Charlie Aarons (lcml) did this...he said wms did it for him by moving ford np205 guts into the np200 case. I called wms, they dis-avowed any knowledge of that project...this tape will self destruct in 15 seconds...

I'd like to keep the E-brake on the transfer too.

I'd rethink that one, simply because it will hang down below the SM420 & you can't clock it up because you're already grinding the yolk. I *had a small supply  Or just refab your skid plate to fully cover it would work too :D

D'oh, the band brake does suck. Sounds stupid but I want to go centered because I don't want to cut the crossmember. Offset cruiser transfer will run right into it because the 25 output goes over the crossmember.

I'm thinking of running the 25 rear, yeah I know it's 10 spline, but I've got six spares.

Here's a pic of an existing setup, the tranny is about 9" long. right now the crossmember is the low spot. Unless I can close couple the 205 to a 420, probably won't have the room. Band brake would be in the crossmember.

Congrats Jim. Glad to see you got it.

I don't think need to concern yourself with #48, but rather #1 - #46. :flipoff2: :D

Finally found a pic of that monster. It would work, but the dropped output would run right into the crossmember. Toybox adapter and mini case would scoot right over the top....cheap, but not old school.

I put a new band on my drum(after I smoked the original) and the parking brake worked great after that. Damn, I wish I had not sold that m715...
