Not much tow rig area, You have to pass through a private community to get to the trail head. I have heard they do not like big lines of rigs rolling through the neighborhood. I have also been told that they have the right to vote to close the road if they fell it is becoming a problem. Locals here try to keep the number of rigs on a run small. Some of the members of the local club are going to take a few of the CA4WD club through when the convention is here next month. Two are three rigs are cool if you dont plan on having a party after the run. The traihead is close to virginia city and hard to find if you have not been there. The trail is not to bad, It is what you make of it. Its like most other trails, We don't want a few to ruin it for all. IMO Moon rocks is much better. Sorry I did not answer the first part of your qustion, Take rt341 to top of gieger grade, turn left into virginia highlands. Sorry from there I don't know the names of the roads. Maybe someone else can help out.
